could you tell me…? 是什么意思？怎么用
Could you tell me...? 是很常用的礼貌问法，用来请别人告诉你信息、规定、地点或时间。它比直接发问更客气，尤其适合问陌生人、工作人员或服务人员。
什么时候说
- 问地点或方向："Could you tell me where baggage claim is?"
- 问时间或安排："Could you tell me when I should line up?"
- 问是否、有没有："Could you tell me if breakfast is included?"
- 问方法或规定："Could you tell me how to pay for parking here?"
语气： 语气礼貌、自然，稍微偏正式；对工作人员很合适，但如果对很熟的人老这样说，可能会显得有点太客气。
注意： 常见错误是后面还用疑问句语序。不要说 "Could you tell me where is baggage claim?"，要说 "Could you tell me where baggage claim is?"。中文里容易按“哪里是行李提取处”直译，但英语这里要用陈述语序。

"Could you tell me...?" 和 "Can you tell me...?" 有什么区别？
两者都对。"Could you tell me...?" 更礼貌一点，常用于问工作人员或陌生人；"Can you tell me...?" 更日常、稍微直接一点。
为什么是 "Could you tell me where baggage claim is"，不是 "where is baggage claim"？
