could you tell me…? 是什麼意思？怎麼用
Could you tell me...? 是很常用的禮貌問法，用來請別人告訴你資訊、規定、地點或時間。它比直接發問更客氣，尤其適合問陌生人、工作人員或服務人員。
什麼時候說
- 問地點或方向："Could you tell me where baggage claim is?"
- 問時間或安排："Could you tell me when I should line up?"
- 問是否、有沒有："Could you tell me if breakfast is included?"
- 問方法或規定："Could you tell me how to pay for parking here?"
語氣： 語氣禮貌、自然，稍微偏正式；對工作人員很合適，但如果對很熟的人老這樣說，可能會顯得有點太客氣。
注意： 常見錯誤是後面還用疑問句語序。不要說 "Could you tell me where is baggage claim?"，要說 "Could you tell me where baggage claim is?"。中文裡容易按“哪裡是行李提取處”直譯，但英語這裡要用陳述語序。
