¿Qué significa “How much is…?”?
"How much is...?" pregunta el precio, el costo o una cantidad de dinero. Se usa para cosas en una tienda, el alquiler, tarifas y precios por hora.
Cuándo se dice
- Pregunta el precio de una cosa: "How much is this jacket?"
- Señala un artículo y pregunta simplemente: "How much is this one?"
- Pregunta el precio total: "How much is all this?"
- Pregunta por el alquiler o una tarifa: "How much is the rent?" / "How much is it per hour?"
Tono: Neutral y educado en el inglés de todos los días; añadir "Excuse me" lo hace más suave con desconocidos.
