would you mind…? 是什麼意思？怎麼用
“Would you mind...?” 是很常見的禮貌說法，用來委婉地提出請求，或先確認對方介不介意你做某事。它不只是字面上問“介意嗎”，還會讓語氣更柔和、更有分寸。
什麼時候說
- 向陌生人或不太熟的人提小請求時很常用："Would you mind switching seats with me?"
- 想徵求許可時，常用 "Would you mind if I...?"，而且後面常會用過去式來顯得更客氣："Would you mind if I asked about your family?"
- 想把提醒或小抱怨說得更客氣時也常用："Would you mind keeping it down?"
- 和它很像的還有較直接一點的 "Do you mind + -ing"："Do you mind helping me with this?"
語氣： 語氣通常禮貌、委婉，常比直接說請求更正式一點；但如果要求太過分，或語氣很衝，聽起來還是會有壓力。
注意： 不要按中文直覺把回答裡的 "yes" 當成“可以”。別人問 "Would you mind...?" 時，如果你同意，常說 "Not at all"、"Sure"、"Go ahead"；如果你直接說 "Yes"，通常表示“對，我介意”。
